Adult dog base mix · Made in USA

Easy Simmer

Simmer your meat in water for five to seven minutes, stir in the base mix, cool and portion. The vegetables, fruit, oils, krill and VMsure are already in the bag, so one pot makes a complete adult dog food.

One batch
Easy Simmer base mix80 g (2.82 oz)
Water1 cup (236 g)
Ground chicken, meat only210 g (7.4 oz)

Or any protein from the table below. Scale every line together for bigger batches.

Method

  1. Weigh the raw ground meat for your batch and put it in a large pot.
  2. Add the measured water and mix well, breaking up clumps so it cooks evenly.
  3. Bring to a boil on high, then turn down to a gentle simmer for 5–7 minutes, until no raw meat remains. Turn off the heat.
  4. Stir in the weighed Easy Simmer base mix. The fruit and vegetables start rehydrating right away. Let it cool until safe to touch, then mix to a smooth, clump-free food.
  5. Portion daily servings into food-safe containers or bags. Refrigerate 3–4 days' worth and freeze the rest as daily packs.

Texture tip: for a thinner food, stir a little cold water into the measured daily portion. Very senior dogs and dogs with sore gums often prefer it.
